Heather Senkler
Heather is a Vancouver Islander born and raised who has rediscovered her passion for the performing arts after many years away from the stage. While she was a member of several choirs over 20 years she did not get involved with theatre again until invited to help with vocal coaching at a local high school musical production. That show led to helping out at Four Seasons with costumes, production, set painting, props and just about everything else. An accidental audition forFlibberty and the Penguin brought her back on stage for the first time since grade eight and she has not regretted a minute of it.
Over the last three seasons Heather has been a principal performer, dresser, assistant director, co-producer, follow spot operator, makeup assistant, child herder, community liaison, and even a solo director for the very first time. She has also taught voice, acting, and movement at the Four Seasons youth classes and is getting ready to do it again. While Heather is still participating in projects around the lower island with other companies, her heart is with Four Seasons. This might explain why she is now not only on the board of directors but is also heading up the development of youth and teen activities for the spring and summer.
